For more than ten years Altair’s customers have gained tremendous value from the patented HyperWorks “pay-per-usage” license model: customers purchase a pool of HyperWorks Units (HWU’s) which are used to gain access to the extensive suite of Altair’s software and HyperWorks Partners’ products. HyperWorks On-Demand extends the power and flexibility of a customer’s investment in HWU’s by allowing the same HWU’s to access the HPC infrastructure in the Cloud along with Altair’s best-in-class HyperWorks software.

The HyperWorks On-Demand platform leverage the market leading HPC Workload Management of PBS Professional as well as state-of-the-art job submission, monitoring and analytics tools for efficient resource utilization, easy access to the Cloud for job submission and subsequent accounting – all at no extra charge.
Solutions
The Altair products currently available on HWOD include:
RADIOSS, a multi-disciplinary finite element solver for structural analysis
OptiStruct, a structural optimization solver
AcuSolve, a finite-element-based computational fluid dynamics (CFD) solver
Altair's BatchMesher, a high-fidelity finite element mesher for large assemblies.
Additional solutions, including solvers from the HyperWorks Partner Alliance and HyperWorks desktop applications will be added soon.
